A “School for Parents” takes place once a month to address a variety of issues such as nutrition, family violence and discipline. The participation of fathers remains an ongoing challenge. Although many parents never had the opportunity to attend school, they are seen as key partners in the education of their children and the teachers try to involve them as much as possible in school activities.
