In 2011, a pilot bursary program was initiated for the graduates of our school and some other students whose families were unable to afford the costs associated with secondary school.
The regular bursary (CAD$300 per year) covers the costs of registration, regular and sport uniforms, school materials and supplies, and tutoring if necessary.
An agreement defining the various benefits and detailed requirements/obligations of the bursary must be signed by the recipient, a parent or tutor, and the program manager.
The program is financed by Canadian sponsors who are kept informed of the students’ progress and have the opportunity to exchange letters with them. In 2019, the program included 13 high school students and two university students .
